En Plein Air
Every Friday I head out to do on-site paintings. The purpose of these paintings isn't to make detailed, beautifully rendered, representative landscape imagery. Rather, it is to simply study color and light directly from nature.
I spend only 20-30 minutes on each painting. I have a very small window of time to work with before the lighting and colors make change.

Start Small
I am waaay behind on starting a blog. I've spent too long thinking about building up this huge intro for myself and it has led nowhere. I am going to jump right into things.
I am an illustrator, concept artist, game artist and game designer.
Here is a sketch for a painting I am working on. It will be part of a new scifi series that I will present at Spectrum Fantastic Live 2015.
Here is a concept mock up for a game I am working on. I am designing the game, creating all the art assets and doing all of the animation. It is a massive workload. The game is a multiplayer cooperative/competitive action-adventure game.
I will post regular updates about pretty much everything that I do. Most of it will be art related.
Welcome to my blog and enjoy!
